Arizona's bark scorpion doesn't need an open door — it climbs the wall and walks in.
The bark scorpion is the most venomous scorpion in North America. Yellowish-brown and 2–3 inches long, it's nocturnal — hiding in dark, sheltered spots by day and hunting after dark. Bark scorpions are excellent climbers, scaling walls, trees, stucco, and block fences with ease.
They're most active in the warm months across Arizona, South Texas, and Nevada — but they can show up any time of year, even in well-established neighborhoods.
Scorpions climb to get in — so take away the climb. A Certified Pro installs Nano Film as a continuous band around the foundation and key entry zones: a surface so smooth they physically can't scale it. If it can't climb glass, it can't climb Slick Barrier.
